The Comic is DONNNNEEEEE!!!!

Just got back the final lettered pages today! Other then two minor lettering mistakes, the comic book is now completed. What now? Well, as I've already said, now I'm still waiting back on submissions, prepping one last (BIG) submission, and working with Phil on issues 2-4. Fun and exciting to see these last 3 stories back and seeing everything all together.

More news to come...here is another peek at the Spirit Animal story by Scott Kellogg.

The Hiatus and Why

There will be more of a slowdown on the blog then already mentioned over the next couple weeks.

As I wait for submissions to come back, I'm also doing interviews for the next series of CBM columns. This is all moving slowly so I must, in turn, move slowly.

Also with Phil Juliano aboard to do issues 2-4, the project has to wait until his time frees up, which won't be until March-April. Columns should appear way before that, but it is all good.

Some other writing projects are coming up...but I won't bore anyone with those details just yet.

bad news and GREAT NEWS

The Birds lost last night. They really did look AWFUL...GOD AWFUL. Sad, mad, aggrivated...but it is all good.

THE INCREDIBLE NEWS is my great friend Phil Juliano has come aboard to draw issue 2-4 of Wise Intelligence! Phil is the guy who drew the great 'For My Father' story and he is just...incredible...absolutely incredible. The Eagles may have lost yesterday...but I'm damn happy Phil has come aboard to bring this comic to life. I know in his very capable hands, this comic will be nothing short of amazing.

More to come...

Still Alive!!!

Posts have been few and far between as I continue conducting interviews for the next series of Comic Book Maker articles.

David Lafuente has dropped out of drawing the 3 issue 'Pilot' series, saying he said some problems. This, of course, left me in a big lurch and way behind after many weeks of planning. The search continues for who will do issues 2-4 of the series (with the Anthology probably serving as issue 1). All this will, of course, be explained in greater depth when CBM returns. I think I have a PERFECT individual to step in to draw the 3-issues...I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that it all works out.

More in weeks to come...just wanted to check for anyone reading. :)
